Fiery, flirtatiously fierce, Playing with the Devil is unforgettable. Tart blood orange essence and rose-tinged lychee fruit is set ablaze with peppery pimento berries essence. Creamy sandalwood on the drydown gives a smoldering quality, for a playful twist on a scandalizing encounter.
Playing with the Devil-By Kilian
Eau de Parfum 50ml Vapo
Year of Creation: 2013
Nose: Becker glass
Collection: In The Garden of Good and Evil
True to the theme of the collection inspired by the forbidden fruits of Eden, Playing with the Devil opens with an explosion of succulent fruity notes: blood orange, blackcurrant, white peach and lychee excited by Madagascar black pepper and pimento that lead to a heart of woody accords of cedar, sandalwood and patchouli sweetened by the opulence of May rose and Indian jasmine sambac.
The base blazes in the aromatic and animalic sensuality of cistus, labdanum, tonka beans, benzoin and vanilla.
The result is, in Calice Becker's own words, “ a summer walk in the woods at dusk .”
A walk in the company of the devil in the garden of Good and Evil, which becomes a fascinating and seductive game played on equal terms by both him and her in the shadow of the arcane enchanter's smile.
