It is a tribute to a long-neglected olfactory family “THE ORIENTALS”, whose structure is an accord of raw materials built around spicy notes, vanilla and patchouli.
This fragrance is characterized by Pepper and Cardamom, hence the name, in fact Malabar is the region of India where the best spices are produced.
The result is an extremely Enveloping and Luxuriant fragrance, which gives a sensation of regal pride, the image of distant worlds from where almost unknown odors come. It evokes seduction, the encounter between a “forbidden” woman and a man with a magnetic gaze.
The first successful perfumes of this family were Habanita by Molinard in 1921 and Shalimar by Guerlain in 1925, followed by Opium by YSL and Samsara by Guerlain.
