A journey into warm spices with cloves, allspice, ambrette seeds and carrot united by the sophisticated beauty of iris.
Heaven Can Wait
Eau de Parfum
Cloves, pimento, ambrette seeds and carrot combine with the sophisticated beauty of iris. Vetiver provides structure and vivacity; peach and prune facets, roundness.
Inspired in part by the intimacy of private worlds, the result is a modern rendition of a Parisian classic: sober, discreet and noble: an eternal seduction, at once exotic and comforting. It subtly and irresistibly attracts and invites an embrace.
The result is something we now appreciate more than ever: a private paradise.
The Perfumer: Jean-Claude Ellena
Jean-Claude has revisited the structure of eau de Cologne throughout his long career, always employing his trademark precision and sobriety. His style of perfumery is a hymn to quiet, exquisite minimalism: if it were rendered in sound, it would be chamber music. If it were art, a precise watercolour sketch. And so, when Frédéric asked him to reinvent eau de Cologne, Jean-Claude's response was compelling and concise. He began by commissioning LMR, a laboratory known for its world-class expertise in natural extraction, to develop a very specific ingredient: a bitter orange oil, specially treated so that it could be used at an extremely high concentration.
Born into a family of perfumers from Grasse, Jean-Claude Ellena was introduced to the art of developing fragrances as a teenager.
Self-taught, he defines his creations as a “poetry of memory”. Everyday smells – waxed floors, clean sheets, leather, an old sweater – are some of his great inspirations. His signature is simple, minimalist and modern.
NOTE:
Top notes: cloves, ambrette seeds, carrot seeds
Heart notes: iris, vetiver
Base notes: vanilla, peach, musk
Vittoria Profumi's advice: For those who love spicy and warm notes, but at the same time full of sensuality
BRAND: Frederic Malle
