Turn the reeds. The frequency with which you turn the reeds determines the intensity of the fragrance; the more often, the stronger it will be. To modulate the effect, you can turn just a few reeds.
Fragrance duration. Large spaces, high temperatures, direct sunlight, and exposure to drafts can accelerate evaporation and thus reduce the fragrance's duration. Position the diffuser away from light, heat sources, and drafts, and choose a diffuser appropriately sized for the space.
