"What does the night feel like when you walk through it until dawn? When everything seems more intense, more vibrant? This is how the story of Palissandre Night begins: a sleepless night told in perfumes, through the intensity of its odors when nature is awake while the world sleeps." To evoke it, Alberto Morillas naturally turned to wood, its depth and its mystery.
Then all that remains is to feel and let yourself be carried away... A path on the edge of a forest. Everything is calm and quiet. The air is fresh at this hour, with a light breeze blowing through the leaves. They come to life, dancing under the silvery glow of the moon. In this composition, ambrox and elemi give a mineral freshness and offer a ray of light to sandalwood, guaiac wood and patchouli.
Perfumer's note: "I have always loved the night and the intensity it can give to perfumes. These are unique moments for a creator. I wanted us to enter directly into the emotion. The composition is therefore conceived as a block, with a simple writing to immerse ourselves in this nocturnal and comforting mystery where the main role is given to the woody notes. To evoke them, I was inspired by the nuances of a fascinating wood that does not exist in perfumes: rosewood. And what a beautiful name to express at night." Alberto Morillas
