The iconic Halfeti fragrance, but not as you know it.... Halfeti Leather, is opulent and dazzling.
Halfpeti Leather
Even the stoicest of Englishmen can't resist the exotic delights found in Penhaligon's Halfeti Leather, a potion so deliciously intoxicating, you fall instantly at its feet. Warm, strong and comforting all at once.
Named for the small Turkish village of Halfeti (Turkey), which overlooks the banks of the Euphrates. In spring the surrounding valleys are filled with the fragrance of the very rare black rose, which grows and is cultivated only in those places. This species of rose blooms in minimal quantities, only once a year, and has an unusual characteristic, which distinguishes it: when it first opens its petals are dark red, while at the end of flowering they become unmistakably black. An opulent, flowery, woody and warm and intriguing composition... the red roses appear black, so intense that it is their magic.
Halfeti Leather opens with bold, bold bergamot and a subtle fusion of citrus, complemented by sweeter notes of lavender, cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon. As the haze begins to settle, the full-bodied, heady base notes of oud, patchouli and, of course, leather remain.
Perfumer: Christian de Provenzano.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Dried Plum, Citrus Fusion, Lavender, Cardamom
Heart Notes: Cumin, Nutmeg, Rose, Violet, Cinnamon, Jasmine
Base Notes: Leather, Incense, Oud, Patchouli, Cedar
Vittoria Profumi's Advice: For lovers of opulent and inebriating perfumes
