Irupé is the common name of Victoria cruziana, a gigantic water lily that thrives in the aquatic basins of South America, particularly the Paraguay and Paranà rivers, where its enormous rounded leaves float gracefully on the water's edge. Irupé is a fragrance with a marine vocation, floral, woody and musky, which elects its center in the perfumer's most sensual flower, the tuberose. Like the majestic Victoria cruziana, it seems to rest languidly on a pool of salt water, which frees it - consenting - from any carnal excess, washing away everything that disturbs a perfect moment. The notes of tuberose and refined gardenia are made more acidic and less penetrating by the very fresh melon, while in a colorful game the carnation spreads its peppery hair over the whole.

Transparent waves enhance the freshness of laurel and mint. Francesca Dell'Oro gives us a summer memory made of sea, salt, known and loved plants, which blends and merges with the scents of the gardens that reach the shoreline. The skin heated by the sun is crossed by an icy shiver: the cardamom in the juice is colder than ever, and the pungent aroma of the pink berries amplifies its icy breath.

Musks and vanilla sweeten this wonderful potion, which should be served very cold, while the sea returns like a refrain through the salty and dry smell of shipwrecked wood thrown ashore by capricious waves.
