In our store on Corso Umberto I, for a few days we focused, together with Karen stylist Jo Malone, on the art of combining fragrances, the so-called "scent pairing" through which Jo Malone gives us the opportunity to create a unique and personalized perfume for each of us.
The brand founded by Jo Malone in 1983 is known for its enveloping, sensual perfumes, candles and bath oils, and for its ambient fragrances that spread their aromatic essences throughout the rooms. The combination of fragrances: “scent pairing”
Karen during her visit to our store explained to us how to combine some Jo Malone fragrances. In particular she told us about Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense , a fragrance that recalls the majestic scarlet poppy of the wild Asian steppes. It is the new fragrance 2021 of Jo Malone. A delicious fragrance, inspired by the extravagant flowering of this flower, enhanced by the velvety scent of iris. Barley and tonka bean add a sweet and intoxicating note, while the delicious aroma of fig creates a luxurious and inviting fragrance.
To make this fragrance more airy we combine Scarlet Poppy with Poppy & Barley Cologne , a delicate floral with a soft base given by barley. The “new” fragrance created is fresher and more floral. To make it more opulent, more sensual, we combine Myrrh & Tonka Cologne , an oriental fragrance that tells of a beautiful sunset in the desert. The combination with Myrrh and Tonka will make it warmer and more captivating.
