A tribute to the Japanese tradition and its aesthetic with unstructured and minimal lines, J expresses an essential aspect of the DNA Costume National, in which the combination of East and West becomes the emblem of a unique and distinctive style. The excellence of the raw materials meets the delicacy and confidentiality of the Japanese attitude, giving rise to an ethereal, deep, luminous fragrance.
The bottle becomes an iconic design object: a reproduction on glass of Ennio Capasa's sculpture inspired by the human figure, seals the brand's identity with its distinctive color, black, embellished with a delicate degradé shade that evokes the rising of light.
Its fresh and sparkling head of Neroli LMR * oil, mandarin and lime evokes Japanese creativity combined with a basic material appeal: water. The heart, in which cherry blossom, orange and pink absolute blossom, is characterized by brightness, kindness and elegance. The enveloping base, harmony of cashmere wood, rice powder and musk, recalls the depth of traditions. In dialogue with the fragrance I, it is part of an olfactory itinerary that, going from East to West, defines the Costume National identity, marking the turning point where past and future meet.
Distinctive note: Sakura blossom (cherry tree)
Origin: Praised for its ephemeral beauty for centuries, the cherry blossom is the symbolic flower of Japan. Hanami, the time when the sakura flower blooms, is the most popular season in this country. In Japan, cherry blossoms symbolize clouds. This is due to the fact that they bloom in abundance, creating fluffy clouds on the trees. The long flowering is followed by a beautiful flower which unfortunately dies shortly after, representing the ephemeral nature of life. For this reason in Japan cherry blossoms are a symbol of mortality and are often used in artistic representations.
Extraction: the raw material is recreated in the laboratory by the perfumer.
