During his travels in the Middle East, Frédéric Malle noticed how a promise made between two people is accompanied by a strict code of honor. He identifies with this principle, believing in keeping one's word, making one accountable to the other, the union of people around the world.

Frédéric's promise to perfumers, to guide them through their creative process and to help them reach the peak of their ability and talent, is a promise he has kept to this day. And the promise of perfumers to create the best products is also alive and well.

Frédéric Malle and Dominique Ropion crystallize this promise with two precious varieties of rose. The essence of Bulgarian rose and Turkish rose absolute are enhanced by an accord of apple, pink pepper and cloves and tied to a sensual base of patchouli, cypriol and labdanum.
