Iris Poudre - by Pierre Bourdon (Perfume)
UNISEX
Year of creation: 2000
Olfactory family: Fiorita Aldehyde
A classic perfume that maintains its sensual femininity enclosed in a sober form.
A hidden satin lining of iris, musk and tonka bean is finished with fresh synthetic aldehydes for an aura of serene formality. Vetiver introduces an additional quality of crunchy chic, while decorative notes of rose, violet and ylang-ylang remind a stranger of seeing the woman beyond the surface.
Iris Poudredi Frédéric Malle is an elaboration of the aldehyde floral structure (Arpège, Chanel N ° 5). Often referred to as "boiling ice", this fragrance hides an ocean of softness and warmth beneath a rich layer of flowers and aldehydes. Iris Poudre by Frédéric Malle exudes a composed sensuality characteristic of elegant Parisian ladies.
Iris Poudre is made with precious materials, a more than “colorful” texture. It is a perfume that reveals its different facets over time and never ceases to surprise. An aldehyde floral scent: white flowers and aldehyde, Iris, Vanilla and Musk.
Maiter: Pierre Bourdon
As Edmond Roudnitska's only pupil, Pierre Bourdon was soon informed by the philosophy that perfumes should be created as works of art. With this in mind, Pierre continued to revolutionize perfume trends in the 1980s with his "Cool Water" men's perfume for Davidoff. It was then that he met Frédéric Malle. Realizing that they shared the same vision of perfume making, the two became like family to each other. It was obviously for Frédéric, when he created Editions de Parfums, that Pierre was supposed to compose his first perfume, Iris Poudre.
Pierre and Frédéric had grown up under the same spell as Dior Parfums, where their parents had both established careers. After graduating from the Paris Institute of Political Studies, the spell of childhood reaches Pierre and, like Frédéric, he enrolls at the Roure Bertrand Dupont in Grasse.
