Eau de Parfum Orphéon
Family: Woody
In the Paris of the early 1960s, the Saint Germain district lives to the rhythm of the lively nights in the clubs, where jazz is played and artists meet. He discusses the world, dances and laughs, in a lively, bubbly and at the same time sophisticated atmosphere ...
Orphéon was one of these bars, in whose joyful effervescence the three founders of diptyque loved to meet, near their boutique. Paying homage to this era and to creative friendships, Orphéon is today its olfactory portrait. A still image that captures the swirls of smoke cross the powdery scent of make-up, lingering on the patinated wood. At the heart of the composition, the atmosphere of this unforgettable place is found through the warmth of the tonka bean, the depth of the cedar and the liveliness of the juniper berries.
Today, the only remaining relic of the Orphéon is a blue pillar with stroboscopic facets, visible in the back of the boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain.
